PRESSE „Lord of the Undead“

Move over, Mel
“Gossip column "Page Six" says a new film is in the works that makes Mel Gibson's Jesus movie look like a Disney flick. It's called "Lord of the Undead" and portrays Jesus as the leader of a horde of zombies. "I've played a lot of evil characters, but I never thought I'd get to kick Christ's a- - in a movie," said the film's star, Debbie Rochon. Wonder what the Catholic Church will think of that.”

THE YADA BLOCK

“Incidentally, Rose is currently working on Lord of the Undead, a movie about Christ as the leader of a zombie army that fights Satan's daughter, Debbie Rochon. Brilliance.”

OH, LORD!
FORGET Mel Gibson's con troversial film "The Passion of the Christ." A movie now being shot in Germany should offend even more people. While Gib son's flick is taking heat for its portrayal of ancient Jews, "Lord of the Undead" portrays Jesus as the leader of a horde of zombies. Scream queen Debbie Rochon has just signed on to play Lilith, the evil daughter of Lucifer, in Timo Rose's ghastly epic. "This is a first," she tells PAGE SIX. "I've played a lot of evil characters, but I never thought I'd get to kick Christ's a- - in a movie." At least Jesus is the good guy.

February 4: Debbie Rochon vs. Jesus!?
The New York Post has reported that German director Timo Rose, creator of the MUTATION series, is working on a movie called LORD OF THE UNDEAD that depicts Jesus as the leader of a horde of zombies. Apparently, though, he and his ghouls are the good guys; evil is represented by Lilith, daughter of Lucifer, who’ll be played by busy genre fave Debbie Rochon. “I’ve played a lot of evil characters,” she told the paper, “but I never thought I’d get to kick Christ’s ass in a movie.” Rochon also recently wrapped a role in FORT DOOM, a horror/Western that reteams her with her BOG CREATURES director J. Christian Ingvordsen, and the two have another fright project currently in preproduction.

FANGORIA

“So, how did I miss what sounds like her craziest role to date? The New York Post reports that Rochon's new film has her taking on her biggest foe to date... Jesus Christ. Oh yeah, those people protesting Mel Gibson's movie have completely missed the boat on this one.

No, really. LORD OF THE UNDEAD is a new film from German director Timo Rose. And don't worry, Rochon plays the bad guy. As Lilith, Lucifer's little girl, she follows in her daddy's devilish cloven hoofsteps. She takes on the Almighty who battles her via - get this - a horde of zombies. But if I don't have the courage, our beloved Debbie does. "I've played a lot of evil characters but I never thought I'd get to kick Christ's ass in a movie," she said.”
